Grindstone, Plague Doctor, Executioner, and Demonologist are the new cards that are unlocked when you reach Arena 6, you can obtain them in chests, events, and in battle. The Elementalist hero is also unlocked at Arena 6.

Arena 6 is yet again another step in class where you will start to come against tougher opponents that will use a range of different decks. After testing and trialing a number of different decks we have found the following to be the most successful whilst completing Arena 6.

The best deck for Arena 6 (Cutthroat)

The deck consists of the following cards:

  • Plague Doctor
  • Executioner
  • Engineer
  • Bombardier
  • Frost

Gameplay tips

The deck contains two of the new cards that are unlocked in Arena 6 (Plague Doctor and Executioner), both cards offer unique abilities that will assist in defeating your opponents. Both cards can be obtained through playing the game, in the shop, and in some chests.

The early game plan should be to try to fill up the deck with as many cards as possible and ignore the temptation to start merging your units early on even if your opponent does so. Focus on trying to build a number of Engineers around each other. Plague Doctors will block enemies from passing in the very early stages and can deal significantly more damage when they are leveled and merged in-game.

The Executioner card can finish off enemies instantly when they reach a certain level of health (this depends on card level), this does not however apply to bosses. Keep a few Executioners on the board paired with some Engineers or Bombardiers to deal healthy damage.

The frost card deals a frostbite effect every few seconds which periodically deals damage to enemies and slows them. This card should be treated as a support card and not be your main source of attack power.

Other notable decks

The beauty of Rush Royale is that there is a range of different unit cards available for you to choose from. This makes the possibilities endless and it means you are not confined to one deck variation.

Other notable decks that we have found useful in Arena 6 are:

Deck 2

  • Plague Doctor
  • Executioner
  • Engineer
  • Hunter
  • Frost

Gameplay tips

This deck is similar to the one listed above but we have swapped out the Bombardier for the Hunter card. The Hunter card deals significant damage to enemy troops and can take down powerful bosses. We would recommend playing this deck aggressively, focussing on dealing high amounts of damage from the start.

In the early game, you should build up a good number of level 1 cards before upgrading anything. You can rely on the Plague Doctor, Engineers, and Hunters to do some good damage early on to enemy troops. Level your support cards first to keep the pressure on your enemy. Try to get as many Engineers linked together as possible early on, this will provide them with an attack speed and damage boost.

The Frost card should be used to slow enemies, not your main source of damage. This can slow enemies so your attacking cards can easily defeat enemies and keep them near the start of the path. When you are approaching the end game you should focus on upgrading the attacking card you have most of, this will maximize your attack power output.

Deck 3

  • Plague Doctor
  • Executioner
  • Engineer
  • Bombardier
  • Cold Mage

Gameplay tips

This deck is a slight variation on the one we listed above, instead of the Frost card we have used the Cold Mage. This card attacks enemies whilst slowing them down, again it should not be used as a main attacking tactic but as a debuff style that attacks in the background.

In the early game, you should play the deck aggressively, and focus on getting a good number of attack-minded cards on the deck (Engineers, Hunters, and Plague Doctors). Keep a few Executioners on the map to destroy enemies in one hit once they reach a certain health percentage. Once your deck reaches capacity you should level up the card you have most of, this way you will maximize the buff.

The combination of the attack-minded cards paired with the debuff cards will suit most play styles. We found the deck to be effective in both the early game and the long game.
